Roy is a Master of Architecture graduate with over a decade of experience in the field. His work centers around the preservation of culture and sustainability within the built environment. He is deeply committed to sustainable development, integrating an appreciation for local craftsmanship, and draws inspiration from his rich background in art, design, cultural studies, and sustainability.
His expertise spans a wide range of projects, including both low-cost and high-end residential developments, restaurant fit-outs, schools, offices, and industrial design work. Notably, he has contributed to the design of showrooms for renowned automotive brands such as Porsche, Nissan, and VW in Kenya.
Roy has also been active in community development, previously volunteering with the United Nations Association of Western Australia (UNAWA). Currently, he serves as a Board Member and Technical Lead at the Kenya Green Building Society. In this role, he is heavily involved in building materials research, particularly focusing on Alternative and Appropriate Building Materials and Technologies (ABMT) to support affordable housing initiatives in Kenya.
